Dutch and Flemish Masterworks Exhibit at Museum of Fine Arts

 

Beginning November 13, 2011 a famous collection of Dutch and Flemish paintings will be shown at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston.   This exhibit runs until February 12, 2012. One of the world’s most spectacular private collections of 17th-century Dutch and Flemish paintings will be on display in the Beck Building.  This collection (more than 60 masterworks) of Rembrandt, Gerrit Dou, Frans Hals, Willem (Claesz.) Heda, Jacob van Ruisdael, and Jan Steen, is from the Rose-Marie and Eijk van Otterloo Collection.
